Debt Advisors Canada is a Mississauga-based debt assessment and referral service. We review your situation, explain the options that may fit, and point you to the right professional when a formal solution is involved. We are not a lender, a Licensed Insolvency Trustee, or a government program. You can start online, by phone, or in person.
Most people who call us are not in crisis yet. They are a few months into juggling minimum payments, maybe just got declined for a consolidation loan, and they want a plain answer from someone nearby before things get worse.
Here is how it works. You tell an advisor roughly what you owe and to whom. We walk through the options that may apply, from the simple ones to the formal ones. Then you decide. There is no cost, and starting the conversation does not commit you to anything.
The advantage of a local office is small but real: if you would rather talk through your numbers across a table than over the phone, you can. Plenty of people prefer that for something this personal.
You are likely in the right place if you live in Mississauga or the west GTA, carry unsecured debt you are struggling to keep up with, and want to understand your choices before you decide anything. Common situations we see: credit card balances that keep climbing, a consolidation loan that fell through, or collection calls that have started.
If your debt is manageable and a tighter budget would fix it, we will tell you that too. Not everyone who calls needs a formal solution.
We do not file or administer any of these. We explain how each one works in Canada, who it tends to suit, and what to weigh, then we refer you to the right professional when a formal step is involved.
